The Power of Playlists

Music has the ability to help us feel our emotions without much thought or effort. It meets us where we are.

Make a playlist of comforting, familiar songs. If the list is too overwhelming, focus on one genre or mood. Try to reserve 15 minutes to an hour each day to submerge yourself in these songs during a relaxing activity. Allow yourself to feel the emotions of the songs. A happy playlist can provide rest from exhaustion, or a sorrowful playlist can guide you through your emotions.

Grow your playlist as you discover new songs that resonate with you. Expand your library by creating new playlists for specific moods, feelings, ideas, or genres.
