Locating Grief

We all grieve differently and we carry our grief differently. Let’s explore our grief and the places in our bodies where we hold and carry that grief. Start with a body scan – take a couple of deep breaths and scan your body from head to toe. As you scan your body think about your person that died. When you are mad/angry, where do you feel that? What does it look like? If you could show me a picture, what would the picture look like? You may carry your grief in your face. How might that look differently than someone who carries their grief in their belly?
