Addressing Anxiety

Anxiety is a natural part of the grief experience. For some, however, it may become problematic, interfering with daily life.

What things help to decrease your anxiety? Activities such as deep-breathing, exercise, thought-stopping, and limiting sugar and caffeine are all helpful.

What thoughts or situations increase your anxiety? Being aware of anxiety-producing thoughts is important. If your anxiety is a significant problem, you may need to see your physician.
