Think of the Sun
Begin by closing your eyes and think about the sun’s daily journey (or moon if you prefer). Picture the colors and feelings of morning, midday, and evening. As you imagine the sun rising then setting, think of how each stage in the sky makes you feel. When you’re ready, think of your loved one, that dream, or lost opportunity as that setting sun. How does that sunset make you feel? Even though we know sunsets are a part of life, it doesn’t make them any less painful.
